 Fun: Mardi Gras 2007 Pet Parade Information



Information you'll need to know about this year's Mardi Gras Pet Parade

Date: Saturday, February 17 (rain date: Sunday, February 18)
Time: 2-4pm
Location: Where Milner meets Whitley Terrace

* No pre-registration / on-site only Cost for registration is $10 for first pet, $5 for each pet thereafter
* Cash or checks made payable to Whitley Heights Civic Association (on-site registration only)
* Each entrant will receive a prize and there will be several grand prizes
* Café DuMonde beignets ($1 for 2), gumbo, rice, and cornbread ($5), beverages ($1)
* Comedienne emcee and New Orleans music

So spread the word, get your pet's costume in the works and be there!!

Residents included Marie Dressler, Leonard Bernstein & William Randolph Hearst. Actors include Marion Davies, Jean Harlow, Charlie Chaplin, Boris Karloff, Bella Lugosi, Bette Davis, Judy Garland, Jean Harlow along with W.C. Fields, Greta Garbo, Barbara LaMarr & Norma Shearer. Additional stars were Carmen Miranda, Rudy Valentino, Harold Lloyd and Beulah Bondi, and directors Cecil B. DeMille, Robert Vignola & Sydney Franklin. Posters by allposters.com
