 News: An Invitation: Advocacy Nighttime Speaker Series

NCJWLA writes "Friends and neighbors of Whitley Heights were invited to a free community event sponsored by the 'National Council Jewish Women Los Angeles' (NCJWLA) entitled: "Immigration: Pros & Cons of Government Decisions & Future Impact on Society."

A distinguished panel with very diverse opinions was moderated by Los Angeles City Councilmember Bill Rosendahl on Wednesday May 24, 2006 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the NCJW/LA Council House at 543 N. Fairfax. (1 block south of Melrose).

This 2006 NCJW/LA presentation was another in their continuing 'Speaker & Discussion' series for the community. This dynamic panel was well versed in the Immigration controversy having extremely diverse opinions. The presentation was a free community event and questions from the audience were encouraged at the end of the panel discussion.
